Monday:
Good day to ALL! I hope you had a great break and I want to hear all about it. In case you have not figured it out yet, I love telling and listening to stories. So, today we will be writing essays telling of all the activities you took part in over break. After we are done writing and grading each others essays, we will have time in class to share them as well.
When you grade a fellow student's work you will need to fill out the following form. I am looking forward to hearing all the cool things that happened over break. Just as a heads up, here is what I will be grading for the essays.
1) 250 or more words
2) Minimal spelling or grammatical errors
3) Proper title Per#_Title_Name
4) How well was the essay written Over Break Grading Form
After this, you will be finishing up your schematic designs and getting them scanned for your presentation on Wednesday.
Wednesday: Hello to all. Today we will present our projects to each other. We will start with a pin up. This is where all projects get put on wall for all to view. We will study and reflect on them and then certain students will be asked to present in further detail their project.
Everyone will critique one other students schematic design. You and the student you critique will be getting a grade for this. You will need to use the below form to critique the design you choose to study. Each student will critique one other design unless you did not turn in a final design. Music Garden Student Critique
If we have time after the pin up we will do a quick practice with using Google SketchUp.
Friday: We are starting a new and totally awesome project today. Get excited. It is all about design and creating, and not about drawing. Because this project will be done mostly in Google SketchUp! Don't worry, if you have never used the program, it is easy to learn and really easy to make revisions with.
